A Maximum Principle for Diffusive Lotka-Volterra System of Two Species
Yi-Yun Lee (National Taiwan University)

Abstract:

Lotka-Volterra system is a well-known ecological model studied in competition, cooperation, and prey-predator relations. In this talk, we will establish a new maximum principle for diffusive Lotka-Volterra system of two species by applying elementary approaches. In particular, this maximum principle could help us to investigate some cases of diffusive Lotka-Volterra model of three competitive species.
