Jesse Madnick is a postdoctoral fellow at the National Center for Theoretical Sciences (NCTS), mentored by Professor Chung-Jun Tsai.

Previously, he was a Britton postdoctoral fellow at McMaster University (2018 - 2020), mentored by Professors McKenzie Wang and Ian Hambleton.  He received his Ph.D. in 2018 from Stanford University under the direction of Professors Robert Bryant and Rick Schoen.

His research is in differential geometry and geometric analysis, focusing on minimal submanifolds and Einstein metrics.  Most of his work concerns calibrated geometry in special holonomy spaces such as G2-manifolds and Spin(7)-manifolds.
