Akito Uruno is currently a Postdoctoral Fellow at the National Center for Theoretical Sciences (NCTS). Prior to this position, he worked as a postdoctoral researcher at Seoul National University (SNU). He earned his Ph.D. from SNU under the supervision of Professor Jae-Hoon Kwon.
His primary research interest lies in the representation theory of Lie (super)algebras and their quantum groups, as well as (q-)Schur (super)algebras. In particular, he is interested in crystal bases (canonical bases) of quantum superalgebras.
