Variational Viewpoint of Traveling Wave Solutions in Some Reaction Diffusion Equations

Abstract:
In this talk, I would like to introduce some reaction diffusion equations with variational structures. Based on such a formulation, the existence of a traveling wave solution is constructed. Furthermore, the wave speed can be characterized by a related energy functional.
