Some Recent Progress on Boundedness of Singular Integrals with Non-Smooth Kernels and Function Spaces Associated to Operators

We discuss recent progress in the study of singular integrals whose kernels are non-smooth so that they do not belong to the standard class of Calderon-Zygmund operators, and explain the role of function spaces associated to operators in the study of these operators.
