Abstract

The Q-prime curvature is a recently introduced pseudo-hermitian invariant of CR manifolds, which is an alternative of CR Q-curvature. While the integral of CR Q-curvature vanishes for the boundary of a strictly pseudoconvex domain in a Stein manifold, the Q-prime curvature integrates to a nontrivial CR invariant. In this talk, we derive the first and second variational formulas of the invariant under the deformation of a domain. This is joint work with K. Hirachi and Y. Matsumoto.
