Aim & Scope:

Japan-Taiwan joint workshop on scientific computing (or inverse problems) has a long tradition. It provides a platform for researchers from Japan and Taiwan working on related fields to share their recent works and to promote collaboration. In 2017, we organized the joint workshop at the beautiful Kanazawa city, Japan, on the subject of inverse problems. This year, we will focus on the scientific computing and related studies. The topics will include, but not limited to, finite element method, matrix computation, computational fluid dynamics, mathematical modeling, etc. We especially encourage young researchers to take part in the workshop.
