A crash course on the mathematical theory of flocking and synchronization

Every Thursday, 15:30 -17:30
R202, Astronomy-Mathematics Building, NTU

Speaker(s):
Seung-Yeal Ha (Seoul National University)

Organizer(s):
Jenn-Nan Wang (National Taiwan University)

In this series of lectures, I will present a mathematical theory of flocking and synchronization based on two well-known models, namely the Cucker-Smale and Kuramoto models. My lecture schedules are as follows.

Lecture 1: Overview of flocking and synchronization
Lecture 2: The Cucker-Smale flocking
Lecture 3: The Cucker-Smale flocking
Lecture 4: The Kuramoto synchronization
Lecture 5: The Kuramoto synchronization
Lecture 6: The quantum synchronization
