The National Center for Theoretical Sciences (NCTS, Mathematics) invites applications for Post-doctoral Researchers for the year 2016.

 

NCTS aims to promote high level researches in major areas of mathematics and theoretical physics, and is a vibrant place with many activities including conferences, workshops, seminars, special topic courses, and summer/winter schools constantly taking place. Description and Application of the positions:

The appointment starts from August 1,2016 for two years or year, renewable to three years subject to performance. We expect talented researchers who are pursuing academic excellence and wish to conduct researches at the highest level. Priority will be given to applications in the following areas:

 

- Number theory and Representation Theory

- Algebraic Geometry

- Differential Geometry and Geometric Analysis

- Differential Equations and Stochastic Analysis

- Scientific Computation

 

By all means, researchers from other fields are more than welcome to apply for the position as well.
