The National Center of Theoretical Sciences Mathematics Division (NCTS) is happy to announce that Prof. Chih-Whi Chen of the National Central University is a recipient of the 2022 Wu Ta-You Memorial Award of the National Council of Science and Technology. Prof. Chen research focuses on Lie and representation theory. Prof. Chen has close ties with the NCTS, in fact, his first position after receiving his Ph.D. from NTU was that of a post-doctoral fellow at the NCTS. Prof. Chen also received the NCTS Young Theoretical Scientist Award in 2021 and is currently an affiliated member of the NCTS Topical Program Number Theory and Representation Theory. He has been actively involved in organizing scientific activities at the NCTS. The NCTS wishes to use this opportunity to congratulate him again on his achievements.
