The National Center of Theoretical Sciences Mathematics Division (NCTS) is extremely pleased to share the news that Prof. Fu-Tsun Wei of the National Tsinghua University has received the 2022 Academia Sinica Early Career Investigator Research Award. Prof. Wei’s research area is in number theory. In particular, his study of Eisenstein series for the general linear group over function fields led to surprising phenomena in arithmetic geometry. Prof. Wei has always maintained close ties with the NCTS. Prof. Wei has received the NCTS Young Theoretical Scientist Award in 2016 and served as an NCTS Center Scientist for two terms from 2018 to 2022.. He is currently on the program committee of the NCTS Scientific Program Number Theory and Representation Theory. The NCTS congratulates him on his outstanding accomplishments.
