The National Center of Theoretical Sciences Mathematics Division (NCTS) is pleased to announce that Dr. Shih-Hsin Chen, has been awarded the 2023 Excellent Postdoctoral Research Scholar Award by the Foundation For The Advancement of Excellent Scholarship (FAOS). Dr. Chen is currently a postdoctoral fellow at the NCTS and his expertise is in partial differential equations and synchronization theory. The FAOS Excellent Postdoctoral Research Scholar Award is given annually to a maximum of 10 postdoctoral fellows in Taiwan who have made outstanding contributions in their fields. Each award includes an annual monetary prize of NT300,000, for up to two consecutive years. The NCTS wishes to use this opportunity to congratulate Dr. Chen on his achievements.
