The National Center of Theoretical Sciences Mathematics Division (NCTS) is pleased to share the news that Prof. Hsin-Yuan Huang of National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University and Prof. Chin-Yu Hsiao of National Taiwan University are recipients of the 2025 Outstanding Research Award, National Science and Technology Council (NSTC). Both are core members in NCTS scientific programs.

Prof. Huang specializes in Partial Differential Equations and Mathematical Physics, with a focus on the analysis analysis of Chern-Simons-Higgs models.

Prof. Hsiao has been working in Complex Analysis and Microlocal Analysis, particularly known for his research on Szegő and Bergman kernels within CR geometry.
