The winners of the 2016 NCTS Young Theoretical Scientist Award are Fu-Tsun Wei of National Central University for his research work in number theory, Chang-Hong Wu of  National University of Tainan for his work in mathematical biology, Daniel Spector of National Chiao-Tung University for his work in analysis.  

The National Center for Theoretical Sciences establishes the Young Theoretical Scientist Award to encourage young talents  in the field of theoretical sciences. The Awardee should be under 40 years of age in which the award is made.
