Gi-Ren Liu is a faculty at the Department of Mathematics of National Cheng Kung University.

He received his Ph.D. in 2013 from National Taiwan University under the supervision of Professor Narn-Rueih Shieh. In 2013, he joined the Department of Computer Science, National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University, Taiwan, as a postdoctoral fellow. In 2014, he was a visiting scholar at University of California, Davis.

The majority of his recent research is driven by digital medicine, especially problems related to the time-frequency analysis and the information fusion. He is also interested in exploring the limiting distribution of functional of random fields.

劉聚仁現任職於國立成功大學數學系。他在謝南瑞教授指導下於2013年取得國立台灣大學博士學位。他於2013年在國立陽明交通大學資訊工程學系擔任博士後研究員。於2014年在加州大學戴維斯分校擔任訪問學者。

他的研究領域是機率。主要對隨機場經過一些泛函轉換後的機率分布感興趣。他近年主要的工作是與數據醫療相關的時頻分析以及資訊融合。
