Shun-Chieh Wang is a postdoc at the National Center for Theoretical Sciences. His mentor is Prof. Chang-Hong Wu.

He received his Ph.D. from National Taiwan University in 2024 under the supervision of Prof. Chiun-Chuan Chen. In his dissertation, he presents theoretical results on the existence of traveling waves in the Lotka-Volterra competition diffusion model and the propagation of wave speed.

His research interests include partial differential equations, differential equations, dynamical systems, bifurcation theory, and mathematical biology. He studies the impact of invasive species on competition with native species and the phenomenon of biological coexistence (in the ODE sense). Currently, he is interested in the issue of the spreading behavior of species described by the free boundary problem.
