Chi-Kang Chang is a postdoctoral fellow at the National Center for Theoretical Sciences (NCTS). His mentor is Professor Jungkai Alfred Chen.

Before joining NCTS, he was a PhD student at the National Taiwan University, under the supervisor Jungkai Alfred Chen. His research interest is algebraic geometry, especially for birational geometry and algebraic fibre spaces.

In his PhD dissertation, he proved several results about the positivity of canonical divisor and anticanonical divisor in algebraic fibre spaces. He proved some special cases of the Iitaka Conjecture. Moreover, he provides an “anticanonical divisor” version of the Iitaka Conjecture.
