Yasuhiro Terakado is a postdoctoral fellow at the National Center for Theoretical Sciences (NCTS), mentored by Professor Chia-Fu Yu.

Before joining NCTS, he was a postdoctoral scholar at Institute of Mathematics, Academia Sinica. He received his Ph.D. in 2016 from University of Tokyo under the direction of Professor Takeshi Saito.

His research is in arithmetic geometry, focusing on Shimura varieties and automorphic forms.
