Prasun Roychowdhury is a postdoctoral fellow at the National Center for Theoretical Sciences (NCTS). His mentor is Professor Jenn-Nan Wang.
Before joining NCTS, he was a visiting research fellow at the Ghent University in Belgium, working with Professor Michael Ruzhanaky. In May 2022, he received his PhD degree from IISER Pune in India under the supervision of Professors Debdip Ganguly and Anup Biswas.
The majority of his research involves studying various types of Functional inequalities in different spaces and application of those inequalities to study different PDEs. Besides that, he is interested in studying the Criticality theory of the second order elliptic operator, the Stochastically completeness of manifolds, Generalized eigenvalue problems, the system of Hamilton-Jacobi type equations, etc.
