Seungmin Kang is a postdoctoral fellow at the National Center for Theoretical Sciences (NCTS). His mentor is Professor Chun-Hsiung Hsia.

In August 2024, he received his PhD degree from Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) under supervision of Professor Yong-Jung Kim.

The majority of his research involves modeling diffusion phenomena, stochastic analysis, and evolutionary game theory.
