My name is Berta Hudak and I am a postdoctoral fellow at NCTS under the mentorship of Chun-Ju Lai.

Previously, I was a Junior Research Fellow at the Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology (OIST) in Okinawa, Japan. I also obtained my PhD here in April 2024. My supervisor was Liron Speyer. My research interests are in the representation theory of symmetric groups, Iwahori–Hecke algebras and KLR algebras. In particular, I have been studying Specht module homomorphisms over KLR algebras of different types and the representation type of type C KLR algebras in higher levels.
