Abstract:

Modular symbols are an important tool for computing modular forms. In this talk I will discuss a theory of modular symbols over the function field of positive characteristic , which provides a way of computing certain automorphic forms over and Drinfeld modular forms. I will focus on a finite presentation for the space of such symbols, and explain how it can be solved in a explicit way.
