On Shimura Varieties of PEL-type with Parahoric Level Structure

Abstract:
In this talk we shall first introduce moduli spaces of PEL-type with parahoric level structure.
We shall discuss the surjectivity of transition maps for leaves in spaces with different parahoric levels.
This verifies an axiom of Xuhua He and Rapoport on stratifications of the reduction mod p of Shimura varieties.
