Synchronization Analysis to Forced Kuramoto Model in the Mean-field Limit
Kuan-Jhan Lin (National Taiwan University)

Abstract:

Kuramoto model has become a paradigm in the study of synchronization and has been extensively explored in the last years in connection with biological systems, neural networks and the social sciences. In this talk, we consider the forced Kuramoto model in the mean-field limit. In this model, all oscillators that interact with each other are affected by an external periodic force. We shall establish certain sufficient conditions to ensure that these coupled oscillators achieve phase synchronization asymptotically and the centroid radius function is strictly increasing.
