Abstract:

The Grassmann bundle of -planes associated to a vector bundle on a scheme is by definition a fibre bundle whose fibre at each point is isomorphic to the Grassmann variety of -planes in the vector space . If is projective over a field and is very ample, then is naturally embedded into a projective space with relative Plücker embedding over . In this talk I explain a degree formula for .
