Cholera Models in Non-homogeneous Environments
Xueying Wang (Washington State University)
Abstract:
The transmission of cholera, a water- and food-borne intestinal infection, involves complex interactions among human hosts, pathogens, and the environment. This talk will discuss mathematical models and analysis for transmission, invasion and spread of cholera in non-homogenous environments, with a focus on the impact of spatial variation and seasonality, and varying community network structures.
