Abstract:

Spherical designs are good finite subsets of a real spheres. Typical examples come from regular polytopes, root systems, and extremal even unimodular lattices, and orbits of finite groups of orthogonal groups. In this talk, I will present many examples, and discuss some basic questions of spherical designs.
