Higher Codimension Minimal Surface System
Yuan Shyong Ooi (Pusan National University)

Abstract:

Minimal surface system is a quasilinear PDE system whose graph describes a geometric object called minimal submanifold. Such a PDE system is also a generalization of the classical minimal surface equation to higher codimension. I will introduce some historical work of minimal surface system by Lawson-Osserman and also a recent work of mine on the uniqueness problem.
