In this series of talks, we plan to learn basics and esstentials of mathematics in quantum algorithms and their circuits. In the first talk, we will discuss the from elementary arithmetic operations, such as addition, modular exponentiation, to quantum Fourier transform, which we will loosely follow the Chapter 5 of the “bible”:Chuang-Nielson, Quantum Computation and Quantum Information, 10 th Anniversary Edition.
