Diophantine approximation and shrinking target
Jung-Chao Ban (National Chengchi University)

In this talk, I will introduce the classical Diophantine approximation, shrinking target problem (STP) and random covering problem. Then we focus on two results of shrinking targets problems: STP on conformal iterated function systems and on non-autonomous dynamical systems. Moran sets on those problems, which are used to estimate the lower bound of Hausdorff dimension, are presented herein.
