Plurisubharmonicity of the Dirichlet Energy

Abstract
Harmonic mappings of Riemannian manifolds are characterized as critical points of the Dirichlet energy. In this talk, I will discuss a new result on subharmonicity of the Dirichlet energy and highlight its connection with moduli theory.
