Abstract

I will give two topics in this talk. One is on the motion of pulses and fronts for reaction-diffusion systems on a star-shaped metric graph with the Kirchhoff's boundary condition. Another is the reduction of integral kernels for a given metabolic network system at a micro-level. Since the reduced integral kernel contains macro structures of patterns, this method provides a path connecting macro-level and micro-level structures directly.
