Reaction Networks for a Graphical Description of Biochemical Systems: Stability of Stochastic Reaction Networks and its Application

Abstract
When the abundance of stochastic reaction systems is modeled with a continuous-time Markov chain defined on a countable state space, the stability of the model can be characterized with convergence of the temporally evolving distribution of the Markov chain to a stationary distribution. In this talk we present how the stability of stochastic reaction systems can be related with structural properties of the underlying reaction network. We further discuss how the stability is used for system biology.
