Cell is regarded as a fundamental unit realizing life events. There are feedback and cross talk of signaling pathways inside the cell against to the change of environment outside the cell. Notion of dual pathways is widely observed there to establish robust homeostasis of living things, which causes sometimes the trigger of malignancy. I pick up two topics from recent studies in computational biology, NF-kB classical and non-classical pathways for stress response and EphA2-EGF pathways in liver cancers.
