Combinatorial Constraints on Lifting Problems via p-adic Differential Equations Huy Quoc Dang (NCTS)
Abstract
Recall that the "lifting problem for curves" asks whether one can lift a curve with automorphism in characteristic to characteristic . This talk discusses how the lifting process is equivalent to extending a certain vector bundle with connection on an annulus to the whole projective plane. We follow Kedlaya's lecture at the "Lifting Problems and Galois Theory" workshop.
