Flocking in a New Discrete Cucker-Smale Model

Abstract
Collective motions are ubiquitous in nature and experiments. Nowadays, several models have been proposed to explain these. Among them, the one given by Cucker and Smale has drawn much attention. In this talk, we introduce a new flocking model based on the Cucker-Smale one, and then give some sufficient conditions to assert the occurrence of flocking. To support our theoretical results, we shall also provide some numerical simulations.
