Graph Theoretical Analysis of Biological and Ecological Systems

Abstract
Graph theoretical approaches to study and understand biological and ecological systems have been increasingly used. Networks are being established to abstract the interactions of the components in either a biological or ecological system. In this study, we present the different graph theoretical approaches that can be applied to analyze the systems and offer new perspectives on established biological and ecological theories as well as tools to address new challenges.
