A Non-invariant Approach to the Jacquet-Langlands Correspondence
Yan-Der Lu (Sorbonne Université - Université de Paris)
Abstract
The global Jacquet-Langlands correspondence in characteristic 0 anticipates the existence of a mapping between the sets of automorphic representations of an inner form of GL(n) and GL(n), preserving certain arithmetic properties. While originally established by Badulescu in 2010 using the invariant trace formula developed by Arthur and Clozel, this talk introduces a novel proof based on the non-invariant trace formula and the trace formula for Lie algebras. Additionally, I will discuss the arithmetic implications preserved by the local/global Jacquet-Langlands correspondence.
