Regularity Properties of Drift-diffusion Equations
Kwan Woo (Seoul National University)

Abstract
This talk presents refined Alexandrov-Bakel’man-Pucci (ABP) estimates for solutions to (non-divergence form) elliptic equations with drifts terms, commonly referred to as drift-diffusion equations:

subject to Dirichlet boundary conditions. The ABP estimate, an enhanced maximum principle, is a cornerstone of elliptic regularity theory. The original form was formulated by Aleksandrov (1960) and Bakel’man (1961), its significance was later highlighted by Pucci (1966).

We discuss on the derivation of ABP estimates for drift-diffusion equations even in the presence of critical drift terms. A key step of this analysis is obtaining higher integrability results for the Green's function related to the drift-diffusion equation by utilizing Fabes-Stroock type approach.
