WKB, monodromy, and applications: Exact WKB method and related topics

Abstract
The exact WKB method, initiated by Voros, provides a framework for the mathematically rigorous treatment of the classical WKB approximation using the Borel summation method. I will give an introduction to the exact WKB method and explain its applications to the Painlevé equations and topological recursion, if time permits.
