On Special L-Values and Their Relations to t-Motivic Invariants
Wei-Cheng Huang (University of Rochester)

Abstract
In this talk, we investigate various L-series and their special values associated with Drinfeld modules and t-modules in positive characteristic. We begin by reviewing the concept of Goss L-series, which can be interpreted as arising from Drinfeld modules or t-modules. We then introduce deformation-type L-series, such as Pellarin L-series, which can be interpreted as arising from deformations of Drinfeld modules. Finally, we present a method for relating these special L-values to certain invariants of the associated t-motives or dual t-motives, along with some recent progress on L-values attached to standard deformations of t-modules. This is joint work with Matt Papanikolas.
