Period Relations for Rankin-Selberg Convolutions

Abstract
In this talk we explain the period relations for critical values of Rankin-Selberg L-functions for GL(n)×GL(n) over those number fields containing a CM field. The main new ingredients are the archimedean period relations and rationality of the Eisenstein cohomology. This is a recent joint work with Dongwen Liu and Binyong Sun.
