Yamabe Problem and Positive Mass Theorem on CR Manifolds
Wei-Ting Kao (Academia Sinica)

Abstract
In this talk, I will introduce basic objects in CR geometry and discuss the CR Yamabe problem and the CR positive mass theorem. The Yamabe problem and the positive mass theorem are important and well-known topics in Riemannian geometry, especially in conformal geometry. Because CR manifolds share structural similarities with conformal geometry, we can formulate and study their CR counterparts. However, new difficulties arise that do not occur in the Riemannian setting. In this talk, I will introduce these difficulties and give some ideas to address them.
