Correlation Number, Manhattan Curve, and Non-Differentiable Points of Boundary Maps
Lien-Yung Kao (George Washington University)
Abstract: In this talk, we examine the correlation of length spectra between two geometric structures on (possibly cusped) surfaces. We also discuss explicit formulas for this correlation number via the Manhattan curve, together with its connection to the Hausdorff dimension of the set of non-differentiable points of the associated boundary map between the corresponding geometric boundaries. This is joint work with Harry Bray and Giuseppe Martone.
