An introduction to prismatic theory (3): Applications to arithmetic local systems and deformation theory
Heng Du (Yau Mathematical Sciences Center, Tsinghua University)

Abstract
Prismatic theory, introduced by Bhatt and Scholze, has provided a new framework for integral p-adic Hodge theory and arithmetic geometry. This lecture series aims to give an accessible introduction to prismatic theory and explore its applications to p-adic local systems and deformation theory.

The third lecture will connect prismatic theory with the deformation theory of p-divisible groups. We will discuss recent developments in Grothendieck-Messing and Serre-Tate theory in a prismatic setting. In particular, we will discuss K. Ito's theory on prismatic displays and the recent work of Imai, Kato, and Youcis, which establishes a beautiful prismatic Serre-Tate theorem.
