Abstract

In this talk, we will discuss $v$-adic Carlitz multiple polylogarithmic values and $v$-adic multiple zeta values. We show that the corresponding algebras are graded by the natural weight and that all $\overline{{\mathbb{F}}_q(\theta )}$-linear relations among these values are generated by ${\mathbb{F}}_q(\theta )$-linear relations. These results may be viewed as $v$-adic analogues of Chang's results, extending Chen's work from degree-one finite places to arbitrary finite places of ${\mathbb{F}}_q(\theta )$.
