Augmented Lagrange Method, Dual Methods and Split Bregman Iteration for ROF Model (II)
Yi-Su Lo (National Central University)

In the previous talk, we introduced the split Bregman iteration for solving the Rudin-Osher-Fatemi (ROF) problem, which forms a total variation minimization and is successful in edge-preserving image restoration. In this talk, we review some other approaches for the ROF problem such as two dual methods and introduce a framework proposed by Tai and Wu for interpreting the relationship among them and the augmented Lagrangian method. In addition, we present several numerical examples as comparisons among these methods as well.
