Introduction to Quasiconformal Mappings and Teichmüller Spaces

In this introductory lecture, I will start from the Grotzsch argument in differential geometry to introduce two equivalent definitions of quasiconformal mappings. After that we will discuss Teichmüller spaces of Riemann surfaces and complex manifold structures.
