Genus 0 Gromov-Witten Invariants of Hypersurfaces
Hiep Dang (NCTS)
Abstract
This talk is to present computational aspects of genus 0 Gromov-Witten invariants of hypersurfaces. I first explain how one can define Gromov-Witten invariants in general, then present how to use the localization formula in equivariant cohomology for computing the Gromov-Witten invariants. Some examples concerning enumerative geometry of lines and conics are pointed out. Relations between the Gromov-Witten invariants and geometric numbers are discussed.
