A Brief Introduction to Diamonds and Fargues' Conjecture

Abstract
The purpose of this talk is to introduce the recent development of diamonds and its motivation from the geometrization conjecture of local Langlands correspondence. One can consider this talk as an addition to the mini-course on perfectoid spaces.
